Wè arè all friènds hèrè, right?) my daily brèakfast 99% of thè timè consists of a Dunkin Donuts XL coffèè with crèam and a chèèsè stick. That’s thè brèakfast of champions right thèrè! But ohhhh … to bè an organizèd adult and makè sound hèalthy brèakfast choicès with littlè èffort and èvèn lèss timè. Doès such a thing èxist? YèSSSSSSSSSS!!! Ingrèdiènts
- 3 cups old fashionèd oats
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tèaspoons baking powdèr
- 2 tèaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 tèaspoon salt
- 2 largè èggs
- 1/3 cup maplè syrup
- 2 cups 2% milk or any milk you prèfèr
- 1 tablèspoon vanilla èxtract
- 4 tablèspoons buttèr mèltèd
- 2 cups bluèbèrriès
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups pècans choppèd and dividèd
Instructions
- To makè your Bakèd Bluèbèrry Pècan Oatmèal, start by prèhèating ovèn to 350 dègrèès and lightly buttèr a 9 x 13 baking pan. Mix old fashionèd oats, brown sugar, baking powdèr, cinnamon, salt and 3/4 of thè choppèd pècans in a largè mixing bowl. In a sèparatè bowl, combinè èggs, vanilla, mèltèd buttèr, sryup and milk.
- Pour half of your oat mixturè into thè baking pan, smoothing to makè an èvèn layèr and thèn add a layèr on top of half of your bluèbèrriès. Pour on and èvèn out thè rèmaining oat mixturè. èvènly pour your ègg / milk mixturè ovèr thè èntirè pan of oats, lightly prèssing thè oats down to makè surè thèy arè all covèrèd in thè milk. Sprinklè on thè rèmaining bluèbèrriès and rèsèrvèd pècans.
- Bakè for 40 - 45 minutès or until thè top is goldèn brown. Rèmovè and lèt sèt for 10 - 15 minutès bèforè sèrving. Lèftovèrs can bè storèd in thè rèfrigèrator for 3 - 4 days and can bè rèhèatèd in thè microwavè for 30 - 60 sèconds.
